Schools Mediation

In May 2008, Mediation Hertfordshire and Parentline Plus jointly secured a tender from Children, Schools & Families to set up and run a mediation service for parents and schools, where bullying issues remain unresolved. The two organisations are working closely together to publicise this new service within two areas of Hertfordshire and offer it from the beginning of the 2008 Autumn Term. The pilot project will be evaluated at the end of the school year, with a view to rolling it out across the whole County. The Schools Mediation Project will be available to all schools in Hertfordshire from September 2009.  Referrals can be made via telephone or e-mail.  There will be more information to share over the course of the year.
